On the site of the former Huggler site, the ‘Alte Mühle’ residential park is being developed as a new residential neighbourhood for Suhr. In two phases, Halter is constructing ten apartment blocks on the site, comprising 133 rental flats in the new buildings, as well as two flats and a communal room in the remaining old mill. With its open-plan layout, varied building heights and generous open spaces, the new residential development blends seamlessly into the landscape along the Suhre. The historic centrepiece of the neighbourhood, the heritage-listed old mill, will be preserved. It is being renovated in accordance with heritage conservation requirements and will in future be integrated into the overall complex as a central meeting place.
