Between the Zwicky Centre and the neighbouring Burenholz, the 50-metre-high Waldhaus Neuguet building is a distinctive landmark on the edge of the Zwicky site. The high-rise building is the winner of a competition held in 2014 and forms a highly visible urban reference point at the Glattalbahn tram stop.
The base of the high-rise building comprises commercial, retail and gastronomic spaces as well as a business hotel from the Harry's Home brand. The upper floors contain residential space – divided into 40 rental apartments and 60 condominiums with individual floor plans and spacious, sheltered terraces on the top seven floors. The floor plans of many apartments open up in two directions and take advantage of the high-rise's position to provide bright rooms, expansive views and functional outdoor areas.
Together with the Zwicky Centre, Waldhaus Neuguet forms the complementary pole of an site that has developed into a dense, multifaceted part of the city. As a high-rise building, it takes on an independent role and shapes the overall appearance even beyond the site boundaries.
