To replace the former vicarage, a high-quality apartment block with 19 flats was built on Steigerhubelstrasse in Bern. The new building blends naturally into the terrain and closes the urban gap between the neighbouring buildings on Freiburgstrasse. The flats are accessed via a cascading staircase. An underground car park was deliberately omitted in favour of generous parking spaces for bicycles.
