VIVO, Aesch

The VIVO residential quarter has been created at the northern entrance to Aesch, a new urban development landmark and a significant contribution to the community's densified residential development. On the 15,188 square metre site, which previously served as a materials storage and trading area, a mixed-use complex has been created. The development comprises 228 rental flats, 36 long-stay flats as well as office, studio and commercial space. The offer is complemented by a childcare centre and a central community centre that enlivens the area.

The residential complex is characterised by sustainability and has been awarded the SNBS Gold standard and the ‘Nature & Economy’ label. Thanks to its optimal connection to the city of Basel and its location close to nature, the site offers a modern environment for living, working and socialising.
