Hotel Resort Vetter

Arosa

At the Upper Lake in Arosa, right beside the railway station, Halter AG and Monoplan AG are developing the new Hotel Resort Vetter — a landmark replacement project. Where the Vetter valley run ends today and the cableways to Weisshorn and Tschuggen set off, a new focal point will take shape: a plaza on Seeblickstrasse that will evolve into a lively promenade and mark the beginning of future urban development around the Obersee. The new Hotel Resort Vetter will succeed the much-loved hotel of the same name, offering around 120 rooms in the three- to four-star range. The development also includes a mix of apartments, a wellness area, two restaurants and a ski-side bar. With direct ski-in/ski-out access, the ski lifts and the valley run connect straight to the site — a privilege few alpine hotels can claim.

For years, the municipality of Arosa, the mountain railway company and the tourism organisation have been working together to further develop the destination. Their collaboration has created a coherent, year-round offer into which the Vetter project fits naturally. Based on a long-term concept developed in close dialogue with local partners, it aims to create lasting value for both the community and its guests. Situated between 1,800 and 2,800 metres above sea level, Arosa ranks among Switzerland’s most snow-reliable ski areas. The Hotel Resort Vetter will become a place of movement and encounter — open to visitors, residents and events throughout the year.
