Henz-Areal, Suhr

A diverse, mixed and ecologically sustainable quarter with a regional flair is being created on the Henz site in Suhr, combining residential, service and commercial areas. The industrial area, which is closed today, will create a link between the center around the train station and Suhr South in the future. The open spaces planned between the buildings with public paths and small squares will link the area with the surrounding neighborhoods. The urbanistic accent for the transformation of the area is marked by the high-rise building with a height of around forty meters. With the implementation of increased energy requirements, the objectives of the 2,000 Watt society is achieved.
