A diverse, mixed-use and ecologically sustainable neighbourhood with regional appeal has been created on the Henz site in Suhr, combining residential, service and commercial space. The former industrial site now forms a link between the centre around the railway station and Suhr-Süd. The open spaces created between the buildings with public paths and small squares link the site with the surrounding neighbourhoods. The high-rise building with a height of around forty metres marks the urban accent for the transformation of the site. With the realisation of increased energy requirements, the objectives of the 2000-watt society were achieved.
