Located directly at Basel SBB railway station, embedded in the lively Gundeldinger quarter, the Gundeli perimeter block development replaces the former residential and commercial buildings and densifies the urban space in a central location. The result is a development designed primarily as rental property with 1.5 to 3.5-room apartments, commercial space on the ground floor and additional office space on the first floor. The apartments feature open floor plans, spacious balconies and varied orientations. The green inner courtyard forms a deliberate counterpoint to the urban density and creates a pleasant atmosphere within the ensemble.
