Four apartment buildings and an extension to the existing Shedhalle will be built as an addition to the renovated historic structures on the Bucher-Areal site. At the centrepiece of the expanded site, Bucher-Platz will become a meeting place for young and old. An aim of the client is to construct cost-effective and sustainable new buildings in simple and functional architecture. The living space should meet the demand and requirements of new tenants and, at the same time, align with the identity of the Bucher-Areal.
