Ten residential buildings are planned on the area ‘Guter Hirte’ in Altstätten. Each of the three building ensembles is grouped around a central communal square and is connected to the others by a finely woven network of paths. The flats are designed to open up on two or three sides and create light-flooded living spaces with plenty of natural light. Natural materials will characterise the façades and give the buildings a warm, inviting appearance. The project will offer well-mixed and affordable living space
