A residential and commercial building with mixed use for living, working and commerce is being built in the immediate proximity of Frenkendorf train station. The area is currently used primarily for commercial purposes, but is increasingly gaining in location quality and urban appeal in the course of urban development. The five-storey building with an attic combines various uses: the ground floor will feature flexibly divisible commercial space, while the first floor will provide modern office units. The upper floors will accommodate 22 apartments with 2.5 and 3.5 room layouts. The clearly structured architecture with striking window and parapet bands creates a distinctive, contemporary look for the building. Generous glazing opens up the long sides, while closed front sides ensure noise protection. With its well-thought-out mix of uses and optimal public infrastructure connections, the project contributes to the sustainable enhancement of this emerging region.
