The office and retail building, with retail spaces on the ground floor, is in the heart of Zurich near the main train station and is part of the well-known "Wannenhäuser" ensemble. The heritage-listed property was completely stripped back to the shell in the office areas, while major floor plan modifications were carried out in the retail spaces. The roof was renovated in accordance with the requirements of the heritage preservation authorities.
The property consists of two buildings. House 45 was finished to a very high standard, in line with the historic style, featuring heating/cooling ceilings, decorative stucco work, and wainscoting. In the stairwell, the original cast-iron railing was restored, and one wall section stands out with Venetian stucco enhanced by gold wax.
House 47/49 was handed over as a premium shell, with a core area wrapped in wooden paneling. In the stairwell, a seamless polished screed floor with inlaid cement tiles provides a modern contrast to the coffered ceilings in the entrance area, which are accentuated by Gold Moon chandeliers.
The interior fit-out of the retail spaces was carried out by the existing tenants Valentino Styling Club and Calida, as well as the newly added Victoria Pharmacy.
