The extension of the existing Kestenholz car centre in Pratteln is creating a modern automotive site for the Mercedes-Benz brand. The extension, carried out by Halter as the main contractor, comprises a new showroom as well as repair, office, staff and storage areas, and is complemented by a new multi-storey car park. The new sections of the building are directly connected to the existing car dealership and complement the site at the entrance to the Magnet site. The architecture and layout concept are in keeping with Mercedes-Benz’s premium standards whilst also being designed to support efficient operational processes. In parallel with the new construction, existing parts of the building are being refurbished. The work is being carried out whilst the business remains open, placing corresponding requirements on planning, coordination and execution.
