At Rue des Charmilles 3, Pénates 2 and Tilleuls 2 in Geneva, a comprehensive renewal project is being carried out on behalf of Swiss Life. The existing buildings on Pénates and Tilleuls are undergoing major refurbishment and will be extended with an additional storey constructed in timber. On Rue des Charmilles, the existing garage will be demolished and replaced by a new six-storey building with a basement level.
The works include technical and energy-efficiency upgrades, a complete redesign of the apartments with step-free access, the installation of new lift systems, and a refresh of the façades. The project is targeting the Minergie and HPE labels. The ground-floor shops along Avenue des Tilleuls, including the restaurant and its terrace, will remain open throughout the construction period.
