Following its total refurbishment, Ambassador House in the Glattpark, Opfikon, is now a commercial complex with the largest interconnected floor area in Switzerland. Since completion, the building has seven floors with a total usable area of 57,000 sq.m. Apart from the building's exterior, the refurbishment also included technical and energy-efficient features. One of the major challenges faced during the preliminary phase was the demolition of the 22-metre-high building technology floors above the seventh storey.
