The two residential buildings located on a sunny hillside in Birmensdorf were completely emptied for a total renovation. Modifications were made to the floor plan, and structural reinforcement work was carried out. Additionally, the apartments were fully renovated, and the building envelope was continuously improved in terms of energy efficiency. The existing attics were demolished and rebuilt using the available reserves.
