The imminent expiry of the leases offers the opportunity to extensively renovate and completely refurbish the iconic service building from the early 20th century. The renovation includes a complete upgrade of the building envelope, the treatment of the historic façade, the replacement of the entire technology (production and distribution) as well as the demolition and new construction of the southern extension. The aim of the extensive interventions is to preserve the history of the historically valuable building and at the same time bring it into the modern age.
