Orubi, Vernier

The new building is located in the Mouille-Galland industrial zone in Vernier, close to Geneva International Airport, and offers 12,475 sq.m of rental space for production activities, workshops, warehouses and offices with an industrial focus. It is trapezoidal in shape, simple and compact, with a central interior. The generously glazed façades bring natural light into the space.

The project includes a 100 per cent renewable energy generation system based on groundwater. It also has a 400 kWp photovoltaic system and is Minergie-certified.

The building has a simple and compact rectangular shape with a load-bearing structure made of exposed reinforced concrete. The use of ALPHI formwork tables was particularly suitable for this construction site, as they reduced assembly, striking and handling times.
