Saint Gallen City Council makes unanimous decision on long-term heritable building right for project Riethüsli
Between the Riethüsli railway station, Teufenerstrasse and the Riethüsli bus turning area in the south of St. Gallen, the future Riethüsli quarter centre is taking shape. After the St. Gallen city parliament unanimously approved the long-term heritable building right, it was signed last week, allowing development of this well-connected location to proceed.
Together with Pfister Klingenfuss Architekten AG and the landscape architects from Kollektiv Nordost, an ensemble was developed that combines urban living, public-oriented uses and good access to the Appenzeller Bahn railway. At the centre of the complex will be a newly designed inner courtyard, which will form the transition between the neighbourhood square and the communal outdoor space and is intended to strengthen neighbourly relations.
We would like to thank the city of St. Gallen for its trust and look forward to the next steps.
