Ziegelhöfen, Basel

The Ziegelhöfen project is located on the southwestern edge of Basel. The existing building, part of a 1930s peripheral block development, will be replaced by a new build housing supervised and sheltered accommodation. The complex is designed for mentally handicapped individuals (mainly women). The social housing project consists of two separate units designed to give residents the kind of personal support their situation requires: "Haus Leonhard" will have 12 residential units while "Wohncoaching Mobile" (Mobile life coaching) will feature 13 studios.
