The new Sentmatt development is in Obfelden, a municipality between Zurich, Zug and Lucerne. It has good transport and road connections and is immediately adjacent to an attractive recreation area. The complex comprises an underground carpark linking the two parts of the building, which each have a ground floor, three standard floors and an attic floor. The project's sustainability is guaranteed by the fact that it complies with 2SOL (emission-free) guidelines. Among other things, the system ensures optimum interplay between the building technology and building envelope. Apart from this, it will also involve technical solutions such as DigitalSTROM, geothermal heating and hybrid collectors. Ten apartments will serve as pilot and demonstration projects to facilitate the collection and evaluation of data and measurements showing the interplay of the technologies used.
