The comprehensive renovation encompassed 40 residential units, which were thoroughly modernized and brought up to the latest technical standards. As part of the upgrades, all bathrooms and kitchens were completely replaced, as well as windows, flooring, balconies, and terraces, including the rooftop terrace. All apartments were additionally equipped with high-performance fiber optic connections.
A central aspect of the renovation was the energy optimization: the façade and basement ceiling were thermally insulated, and the existing oil heating system was replaced with an environmentally friendly district heating solution. Furthermore, all apartments were outfitted with comfortable underfloor heating. All water and electrical installations were fully renewed.
Additionally, the ceiling of the underground parking garage was structurally reinforced, and the outdoor spaces were redesigned. The construction work was carried out while the building was unoccupied to ensure efficient implementation of all measures.
