The Talgarten commercial building in the heart of Zurich was designed by architect Roland Rohn and built in 1952. The property is listed among the protected sites of artistic and cultural-historic significance of the city of Zurich. The construction project encompassed the repurposing of the office building Talacker 42 as the first citizenM hotel in Switzerland. The development and implementation was conducted in close collaboration with the Dutch hotel operator, with a focus on honouring the architectural significance of the property. Hotel guests enjoy a high-quality and innovative interior design. The project created 160 attractive hotel rooms, spacious conference and meeting rooms and an inviting lounge and bar.
